Our First Steps

Our founder, Frank Maher, who still happily guides us as we expand, bravely used his skills in jewelry crafting to launch a new business. He and his wife, Liz, were full of excitement to show our first collections in Talbot Street, in the heart of Dublin. Initially known as Flaircraft, we emerged as manufacturers and proudly expanded to five flourishing stores.

ShanOre Takes Flight as a Family Business

Not just symbolic, but also full of sentiment, our first engagement and wedding ring collection sealed many faithful vows, remaining among our most treasured creations.

While Frank's son, Shane, rejoins us from London to lend his expertise in diamonds and help with the growing demand for our fine jewelry, we have big plans for the luxurious Celtic pieces our audience has been longing for. And so, we embark on an exciting new chapter, trading under the name ShanOre, marking the start of an unforgettable journey.

Expanding Horizons

With the invaluable addition of Alan, our USA Sales Director, a world of opportunities unfolded as we set sail to expand the company's horizons to the United States. The overwhelming love for our jewelry from the large family of people with Irish connections in the US was truly humbling. Our genuine identity, beautifully reflected in the ShanOre brand, captured the hearts of customers across the country. Awards started to pour in from the American Association. Your response to our designs means everything to us.

A New Chapter

We introduce Signature, an extension of ShanOre's pieces, which quickly gains recognition for its distinctive style and timeless elegance. We embrace the digital era by launching ShanOre's first website, providing our valued customers with an enhanced online experience.

Growth and Sparkle

Among exciting new partnerships and additions to our team, we proudly united with Swarovski, infusing our designs with luxury and sparkle. Welcoming Leigh, Frank's son, to the Shanore team brought vital support, as his finance and IT skills became pillars of our business. Marking a significant milestone, we launched our first retailer portal, streamlining access to our collections. As we continue to grow, our new home in Citywest offers ample space for future expansion and success.

Innovation & Expansion

Ocean, originally a special order, swiftly blossomed into its own brand, fueled by soaring demand. Meticulously crafted using the finest materials, each piece honors the magical allure of the ocean. Shane's expertise led to him becoming managing director, providing guidance and direction. Meanwhile, the Signature Collection got a revamp and emerged as a distinct and captivating brand of its own.
